About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to drive full-funnel marketing performance across all digital channels. Your mission is to grow awareness and drive demand for Ray, a cutting-edge open-source distributed computing framework that’s powering the next generation of AI applications.
You’ll be responsible for driving the buyer’s journey and getting high-value technical content in front of the right audiences—ML engineers, platform teams, data scientists, and AI leaders—across channels they already use and trust. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders like developer relations, product and engineering, product marketing, and design to coordinate go-to-market launches, campaigns, and always-on distribution strategies.
You’ll own digital marketing strategy and execution from top-of-funnel awareness through to sales opportunities. Success means expanding Ray’s interest in the ML ecosystem, driving high-quality engagement, and moving more people through the marketing funnel into active consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and execute content distribution across paid and organic channels to grow Ray’s visibility and influence in the ML/AI ecosystem.
-
Build integrated multi-channel campaigns to distribute technical content (blogs, videos, webinars, podcasts, thought leadership, case studies, etc.) across:
Paid search and social
Email marketing and nurturing
Developer communities
Influencer partnerships
Press and media partnerships
Lead segmentation and targeting efforts across funnel stages—from cold audiences to warm nurture to sales-ready leads
Identify gaps in the content journey and partner with content creators to fill them—ensuring the right content exists to guide users from awareness to consideration
Develop and optimize email nurture programs and retargeting flows to increase conversion at every stage of the funnel
Manage paid media budgets and continuously run A/B tests to improve performance and ROI
Act as the voice of our digital audience internally, identifying new distribution opportunities and sharing insights on what content resonates
Stay up to date with trends in AI/ML community engagement strategies. Identify new channels or influencers to test and scale
Qualifications:
4+ years experience in digital or growth marketing roles, ideally in a technical B2B or developer-focused company
Demonstrated ability to run full-funnel digital marketing campaigns—from awareness to lead gen to pipeline acceleration
Strong understanding of content marketing strategy and how to turn content into distribution-driven growth
Experience managing and optimizing paid media and email nurture programs
Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and using data to drive decision-making
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and similar platforms
Successful startup experience marketing to technical audiences
