How Can You Help?
As a DevOps Engineer at Sensei, you will be instrumental in building the infrastructure that powers our stores, pods, and cabinets, ensuring they operate with maximum efficiency and reliability. Your key responsibilities will include developing infrastructure-as-code (IaC), managing Kubernetes clusters, and optimizing resource usage to support Sensei’s retail solutions. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong collaboration skills, as this role will involve close coordination with engineering, support, and leadership teams to ensure robust and responsive deployments. Your contributions will directly enhance Sensei’s reliability and impact the customer experience across our retail solutions.
Daily at Sensei, you will:
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code to maintain consistency and scalability across multiple environments.
- Automate deployment and update processes to streamline operations for stores, pods, and cabinets.
- Collaborate with engineering on resource optimization, support deployment troubleshooting, and work alongside the deployment team on new rollouts.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources, supporting system performance and scaling needs.
- Implement and refine monitoring tools to proactively address issues, enhancing reliability.
- Review and improve security practices, including access management and network configurations.
You Will Bring to the Table:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to complex challenges in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Adaptability to new technologies, processes, and evolving project needs as Sensei continues to grow.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and Kubernetes for scalable, reliable deployments.
