Job Description

You will be part of the Data Consumer Assurance function within the Data Management organization, supporting the monitoring, validation, and assurance of Experian's AWS-based data assets. You'll help ensure that our data meets for quality, completeness, and compliance — while working in a modern, cloud-native environment.

This role is ideal for a data professional with 1–3 years of experience who has a solid technical foundation in data analysis and is eager to deepen their expertise in AWS data tools and automation frameworks.

Important Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate AWS-hosted data assets to ensure quality, consistency, and completeness across platforms.
  • Develop and automate data quality checks, validation routines, and anomaly detection processes using AWS Glue, Lambda, and SQL.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Amazon QuickSight to surface important data quality metrics and operational insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and data profiling to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and causes of data issues.
  • Partner with data engineering, compliance, and product teams to support governance processes and assist with remediation activities.
  • Document monitoring procedures, automation scripts, and validation results for audit and traceability purposes.
  • Participate in optimizing data workflows and identifying opportunities for automation within AWS-based pipelines (e.g., S3, Glue Jobs, Step Functions).
  • Contribute to the enhancement of data quality frameworks, documentation, and Service level agreement monitoring processes.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data operations. Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and QuickSight.
  • Solid SQL skills for querying, validation, and data profiling.
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data architectures.
