About the role This content creator will be a key member of our in-house social creative team to concept and bring to life shareworthy content ideas. We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual who would like to push their creative boundaries while getting hands-on experience for iconic brands. This role will especially focus on creating video content to entertain and delight members of Gen Z and younger. If you love making fun stuff, this could be your dream job. What you'll do: Come up with original content ideas from scratch and figure out how to bring them to life Collaborate with a team to identify content themes, trends & storytelling opportunities Wear every hat of social video production Work in different capacities depending on the project - solo, with a team, or with a production partner Create a mix of long-lead, quick-turn and real-time content Interface directly with client throughout the process Balance ideating the next content idea while still executing the last one Gain an instinctive understanding of your client's look, feel, voice and tone Stay ahead of the latest trends, interests and passions of our target audiences Make us laugh, gasp, hit replay, and ask "how'd you think of that??" What you have: 2+ years' experience working with a content team – whether at an agency, content studio, production house, or in-house for a brand Hands-on experience creating a variety of content types, especially video – think IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube shorts etc Skills with videography and editing, as well as photography Experience with stop motion, tabletop, puppetry, and other "craft-y" forms of video Art direction and design experience A personal passion for creating your own social content, and staying on top of social trends / innovative creators Ability to present and communicate ideas clearly to clients, and take feedback in good spirits Strong visual storytelling skills A hilarious sense of humor A childlike sense of wonder and playful imagination Your own unique POV… it's okay if people think you're weird. Experience with all other hands-on artistic expressions (illustration, music, LEGO building, painting, etc) a plus Salary range: $55,000 - $95,000 The Brooklyn Brothers has included the base salary or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; market considerations; budgetary considerations; as well as a candidate's background, relevant experience, and qualifications.
