The Consultant Neurologist is a senior medical professional responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. This role requires extensive clinical experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality neurological care in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations. Working in a hospital or specialty clinic, the consultant collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered and evidence-based treatment plans.
Responsibilities:

Diagnosing neurological conditions through comprehensive evaluations, imaging, and diagnostic tests.

Developing and managing individualized treatment plans for patients with conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.

Performing and interpreting procedures such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.

Consulting with other medical specialists and coordinating multidisciplinary care where required.

Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment regimens as necessary.

Educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term care strategies.

Participating in clinical audits, quality assurance programs, and medical education initiatives.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of specialized training in Neurology.

Valid UAE medical license .

Minimum of 8–10 years of post-specialization clinical experience, including consultant-level practice.
