I have a 6 month contract for a Principal CIL Collections Officer to be based in Poplar, East London. This role is paying £35 an hour via umbrella. The role is inside ir35.
Description:
1. To process planning applications for the collection of Mayoral and Tower Hamlets CIL
2. To measure and confirm Gross Internal Areas for planning drawings in relation to CIL collection
3. To calculate CIL liabilities and relief amounts for all scales of development including major applications
4. To issue CIL Liability and Demand Notices utilising Exacom software
5. To conduct site visits to gather evidence to investigate development commencement dates
6. To liaise with developers for compliance of the CIL Regulations 2010
7. To advise Development Management colleagues on all CIL matters
8. To represent the Council’s interests at any planning appeals or other legal processes related to CIL with support from the Council’s Infrastructure Planning and Legal Teams
