Job Title: Graduate Engineer
Reporting to: Technical Director
Main Purpose
This two-year graduate programme offers exposure to the full lifecycle of renewable
energy projects—from early feasibility and design through construction, commissioning
and operations. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on
technical experience and a broad understanding of the commercial, regulatory and
environmental aspects of the UK energy market.
Key Tasks and Requirements
• Support site feasibility studies, resource assessments and grid connection
applications in line with UK DNOs/NESO requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and review of engineering drawings, specifications and
tender documentation.
• Contribute to energy yield modelling (e.g. PVsyst, WindPro) and performance
analysis.
• Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Monitor operational assets and help identify performance improvement
opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation in
accordance with UK CDM Regulations.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders including
Ofgem, local councils and network operators.
• Keep abreast of UK energy policy, industry standards and emerging renewable
technologies

• Degree (2:1 or above) in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy or related
Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• Strong interest in the UK renewable sector and the transition to net zero.
• Competent user of MS Office; familiarity with CAD, GIS or modelling software is
advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel to project sites across the UK.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence preferred.
