Visions In Education is looking for a Chief Operations Officer to join us in serving our employees and programs. The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for driving strategic leadership on all matters related to effective business/technology operations, including: operations and supply-chain management optimization, process improvement, financial management, budgeting, purchasing, student records, student assessments, technology, curriculum support services, and facilities. In addition, this position will contribute to optimizing marketing, communications and enrollment management. The position serves as a principal advisor to the Superintendent/Executive Director, Board of Directors, and executive leadership staff.
In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days at our office in Gold River, CA and 1-2 days remotely. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change.

- Four (4) year college degree from an accredited university is required (preferably with a major in Business or Public Administration, Management, Technology, Finance, or related field.)
- Master’s or professional/advanced degree from an accredited university preferred (preferably in Business or Public Administration, Management, Technology, Finance, or similar fields.)
- A Certified Public Accountant is highly desirable.
- At least eight (8) years of experience leading and managing the operations of a charter school organization of similar size and complexity, preferably in California.
- Previous public and/or charter school experience is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are preferable.
