Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive our financial strategy, manage risk, and strengthen operational efficiency. You will work with the leadership team to guide growth, ensure compliance, optimize capital, and implement best practices in the fintech industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, analysis, and capital allocation to drive business growth.
- Provide strategic recommendations and commercial insights to C-suite executives to optimize business outcomes.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage Profit & Loss, cash flow, working capital, audits, and financial planning processes.
- Implement robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and company policies.
- Build, lead, and manage high-performing finance team.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across digital assets, trading, custody, and investment.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on evolving regulatory requirements.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, including submissions to MAS and other authorities.
- Ensure audit, risk, and compliance frameworks are embedded and operational across the Group.
- Prepare timely, accurate group financial reports for management and directors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in fintech, investment, or digital asset sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial and banking/treasury matters, management reporting, and regulations.
- Proven track record in financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Innovative and forward-looking, with a keen interest in digital finance trends.
