About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a key role in planning, designing, and supporting CRM-related initiatives that align with institutional priorities. This position collaborates with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify solutions, and define requirements that improve information systems and organizational practices. The BSA leads activities across the full project lifecycle, including feasibility analysis, business case development, requirements gathering, and solution design. Responsibilities include facilitating scope and priority setting, managing testing strategies, and ensuring business readiness for system changes through training and change management. The role also supports continuous improvement of CRM systems and provides guidance on best practices.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong business analysis expertise and a strong understanding of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics. They excel at functional analysis, quality assurance, and change management, ensuring solutions align with long-term business goals. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration and 2 years of related experience in areas such as working with enterprise applications, preferably in post-secondary education or public domain, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Strong business analysis skills, with a proven ability to successfully conduct business and systems process analysis and design at a medium level of complexity to ensure solutions meet long-term business strategies.
  • Strong knowledge in the use of constituent relationship management systems (CRM) (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, MS Dynamics CRM, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of functional analysis, quality assurance, and change management best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, teamwork, and mentorship skills.
