Program Overview – Digital Transformation Office, Central Services
Sitting within our Central Services division, the Digital Transformation Office exists to enable this vision across the organization by delivering new and enhanced capabilities for digital solutions, analytics, and digital experiences with an enterprise mindset. Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, Digital Transformation, as a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in a team focused on delivering digital solutions that enhance our capabilities and productivity for advancing our mission.

You'll support the end-to-end delivery of significant projects by working with key stakeholders at all levels to drive positive change for our work. You'll develop critical project artifacts and foster positive relationships to support training and change management to deliver real solutions for our staff, volunteers, and clients. What You Will Do
- Manage intake and initial requirements gathering for projects identified to the Digital Transformation Office.
- Act as second-level support and escalation point for identified systems issues
- Manage vendor relationship(s), acting as primary point of contact on iterative system changes; partner with technical project manager on more substantive system changes as needed
- Intake, understand, prioritize and execute system change requests; includes developing and implementing change request mechanisms and change advisory and decision-making structures
- Develop troubleshooting plan for end users; includes both intake of support requests and response activities
- Liaise with business (system users), Business Analysts, project managers and others to understand and document key business processes
- Liaise with business (system users), Business Analysts, project managers and others to identify, define and implement opportunities for improvement; includes regular review of key reports to identify systems or process gaps and collectively develop continuous improvement plans
- Develop, manage and maintain all system(s) documentation, including process documentation SOPs, architecture maps, issues logs, data dictionaries, and other as identified
- Maintain Digital Transformation Project Management board, documenting project and intake status.
- Liaise with vendor(s) to understand software roadmaps, and leverage findings to inform internal roadmaps
- Develop and implement internal roadmap of activities for continued optimal use of core system(s)
- Develop and implement governance approach to managing core system(s)
- Support overall data and technology strategy, standardizing business processes, practices, and data sets where appropriate
- Act as representative of core system(s) to support ongoing evolution of centralized data repository
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with business analytics, business systems analytics, continuous improvement, or similar experience
- End-user software training is an asset
- Experience with SDLC, user stories, quality assurance and user tests
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodologies and tools
What Will Set You Apart
- Strong ability to coordinate and support work across multiple different initiatives and teams
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft PowerBI
- Monday.com experience is an asset
- Excellent analysis and evaluation skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to communicate opportunities for enhancement or risks effectively
