Position Details
We are seeking a resourceful and systems-oriented Business Operations Associate to join our Talent, Growth, and Operations team (supply side of marketplace). This hybrid role combines hands-on talent matching operations with a growing focus on data analysis, workflow automation, and internal tool development. You will manage and fulfill talent matching operations while supporting the design, analysis, and automation of scalable workflows. You’ll identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and leverage no-code tools like Retool, Zapier, and AI systems to build dashboards, automate processes, and enhance decision-making in talent operations.
What You’ll Do
Execute Key Operations Processes
- Manage day-to-day staffing requests and instructor matching using internal tools (Retool, Slack, Sakari, Notion)
- Maintain accurate communication with instructors and Customer Success Team about class coverage
- Track and document fulfillment statuses, confirmations, and class-level notes
- Coordinate with Customer Success, Community Operations, and Talent Growth teams to fulfill time-sensitive requests
Analyze and Track Operational Processes
- Evaluate current workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, or manual overhead
- Document step-by-step operational processes with clarity and structure
- Leverage data analysis to create actionable insights for process improvements
- Partner with leadership to develop reports and dashboards for tracking operational KPIs
Build and Automate Internal Tools
- Help implement AI-based automations using internal tools or platforms like Zapier, Slack workflows, and Retool integrations
- Automate communication workflows (email/SMS) and response tracking improvements
- Collaborate on AI-agent testing and integration into routine workflows
Learn, Grow, and Contribute to Scaling
- Participate in regular coaching and development sessions focused on no-code tools, workflow design, operational strategy, and AI technologies
- Contribute ideas and solutions for automating and streamlining other areas beyond talent matching
- Help shape documentation and playbooks for new workflows, automations, and AI-integrated systems
Who You Are
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, project management, management consulting, or process-oriented roles
- Tech-curious and eager to learn tools like Retool, Notion, Zapier, and AI-driven platforms
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying inefficiencies
- Analytical mindset with a bias for action, comfortable proposing and testing improvements based on data insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
