Business Analyst

About the role:

As a Business Analyst in the Reservations Team, you’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and development team to translate business objectives into clear and actionable product requirements. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will help ensure our systems align with customer processes and deliver maximum value.

What you’ll do:
  • Identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, and translate them into product requirements in close consultation with the Product Owner.
  • Determine and document user requirements for customer business processes.
    Analyse the feasibility and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to fully understand requirements and identify the best possible design solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and conduct functionality testing for new systems.
  • Lead discussions and walkthroughs with stakeholders and Product Owners to clarify business rules and system behavior.
  • Investigate and analyse the root causes of issues reported by customers, identifying business needs and potential solutions.
  • Define actionable steps to resolve issues or improve processes, especially where others encounter obstacles.
  • Develop process descriptions, process flows, and reports that enhance customer understanding, improve workflows, and deliver valuable insights.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, areas for improvement, or overlooked consequences.
  • Provide consultation to Product Owners and internal stakeholders on strategic directions and implementation approaches.
What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a software or product-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to challenge assumptions and suggest improvements.
