About the job

Role Summary


We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to work within our data onboarding and integrations team for our core platform, LUSID – contributing to the specification of data and interface mappings, for sources such as instrument ref data, transactions, prices, holdings, etc. ensuring smooth integration via APIs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make key contributions to the future of our LUSID platform and shape how our clients interact with LUSID.


Key Responsibilities


    • Collaborate with clients, integration partners and internal stakeholders to understand data and functional integration requirements for the LUSID platform.
    • Perform detailed analysis of external data sources and define mapping to LUSID’s data models especially across instrument, transactions and pricing sources amongst others
    • Review and interpret API documentation to support integration design and data onboarding
    • Support the configuration and implementation of data pipelines and connectivity between external systems and LUSID platform
    • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure integration solutions meet business and technical requirements
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes, tooling and documentation
    • Feed back into the core platform development and functionality


    Skills and Experience


      • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on system integrations, data onboarding, or connectivity projects, ideally in the buy side space
      • Strong understanding of APIs and experience reviewing technical documentation to define integration requirements
      • Ability to analyse, map and transform complex data structures across different systems
      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and present integration designs and data mapping clearly
      • Familiarity with tools or platforms related to data ingestion
      • Familiarity with financial products including Fixed Income, bonds, OTC derivatives, and listed derivatives
