About the job
Opontia, a digital-first consumer goods group operating across MENAT and Central & Eastern Europe and backed by a $42M Series A, seeks a hands-on, entrepreneurial Brand Manager to manage a portfolio of fast-growing eCommerce brands across multiple channels and markets. The role owns day-to-day brand success including listing content and creatives, P&L and financial health, marketing tactics, customer service, risk mitigation and compliance, inventory management, and strategy/tactics for growth. Core mandates include P&L ownership and management (setting/monitoring sales and margin targets, producing and acting on daily/weekly/monthly product reporting, steering profitability optimization with the Head of Brands, and coordinating with Finance for accurate P&L reflection); growth strategy execution focused on revenue growth management (promotion management, digital strategy, pricing, mix optimization, product/category expansion, inventory planning) and operational efficiency/excellence (centralization, consolidation, sourcing improvements, SOPs); product development (evaluating market/competition and customer needs, defining per-brand roadmaps, leading end-to-end launches in coordination with central sourcing/planning, and aligning launch plans with Marketing); and brand positioning (understanding customer groups and USPs to define clear positioning that guides revenue management, marketing, and product roadmaps). The Brand Manager maintains synchronized brand management processes with Sourcing, Planning, Operations, and other departments, acting as a key member of the growth team and applying deep market/listing knowledge to diagnose issues and deliver action plans. Fluency in Arabic and English and experience in the Saudi market are emphasized, with knowledge of Eastern European and GCC markets considered a plus.
