Job Description:
The BIM Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and technologies across all phases of different projects. This role involves managing BIM standards, workflows, and ensuring the integration of BIM models with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. The BIM Manager will lead the development and management of BIM protocols and strategies to improve project outcomes and ensure compliance with industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities:- Responsible for developing BIM strategy, overseeing all BIM work for multiple projects and responsible for BIM quality on all projects, while working closely with BIM Leadership on the development of pilot projects.
- Assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project, including utilization of models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress.
- Oversee the 3D Models production process to ensure task delegation, design tickets, communication and quality are being met
- Coordinate the review and validation of construction models (including 2D/3D contractor model submittals).
- Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit, review model health metrics and time applied towards modelling efforts on projects to ensure budget expectations are being met.
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
- Manage and Update BIM Project Documents file maintenance, prevention, and corruption recovery.
- 10+years’ of experience in BIM client and project handling.
- Must have hands-on experience into Scan to BIM modelling.
- Good understanding of various common data environment platforms (BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise).
- Hands-on experience in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator & PowerPoint.
- Experience in international deliveries.
- Experience in the development of 3D models for visualization and Design exposure to 4D models linked to project schedule for simulation, and 5D models to support estimating efforts.
- Experience with development of BIM execution plans.
