About the job
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior BI Engineer with a can-do attitude to shape Logz.io’s data strategy and transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive key business and product decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to modernize our analytics stack and deliver trusted, impactful insights across the company.
Your Impact
- Own and evolve Logz.io’s BI stack, data models, and reporting infrastructure to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Define and govern core business metrics to ensure consistency and reliability across all teams.
- Lead analyses across product, marketing, and revenue functions to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
- Build intuitive dashboards and champion analytics best practices for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Improve data quality, lineage, and governance as the company scales.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering roles in a tech/SaaS environment.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end analytics workflows.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
- Expertise with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, or Metabase.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks (Airflow, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Quantitative Economics, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills in English.
