As a Bank Support Practitioner, you have the flexibility to choose your shifts based on your availability, making it easier to balance work with your lifestyle. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. The Role As a Bank Support Practitioner you will play a vital role within our team. You will cover shifts to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness. You will be joining our friendly team who support a young lady who recently moved into her first home in Lenzie with has Autism, mental health and behaviours of concern. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in her day-to-day life, from preparing meals and managing medication to attending appointments, enjoying activities and supporting her with personal finances. Most importantly, you’ll encourage her to grow in independence, helping her develop practical life skills like cooking, caring for her home, discovering new hobbies and integrating with her local community. To be part of our team, we’ll need you to: Have an empathetic and caring nature. Good observation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence in using computers. Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own. Good organisational skills. Shift Patterns Our team provides 24/7 support on a 2:1 basis which include day shifts (8am - 10pm) and sleepover shifts (8am until 8am the following day with sleepover between 11pm - 7am).
