We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling to accommodate students and those seeking a rewarding role without weekend commitments. Our center is open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM—apply today to find the schedule that works for you! Full-time roles are available depending on availability and child care experience. Typical Morning Shifts are between 6 AM and 12 PM, Afternoon shifts are between 12 PM and 6 PM.
Duties
The Assistant Child Care Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to implement daily activities, support children’s social-emotional growth, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time hours for candidates with prior child care experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity.
- Provide attentive, responsive care to children in a positive and nurturing manner.
- Support the Lead Teacher in classroom management, routines, and transitions.
- Foster social skills, self-regulation, and positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a clean, safe classroom by following all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to build a strong, supportive community.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Previous experience in child care or a classroom setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- A warm, caring demeanor with a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to be flexible with hours based on program needs, with potential to transition to full-time for qualified candidates.
