Teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses to include biostatistics or health data science; pursues appropriate scholarship, and participates in department, college and university service activities and teaches courses and directs graduate projects in health data science and AI through NEOMED, the Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days. Position will work on both YSU campus and NEOMED campus.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field earned or to be completed by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong interest in graduate scholarship, evidence of excellent teaching, and commitment to conducting scholarly research. Background in statistical consulting and data analysis and understanding of AI applications in health care. Although all areas of statistics and data science will be considered, preference will be given to candidates whose research area is biostatistics or health data science with experience in the use of AI in health care settings. Passionate about working with undergraduate and master level students on research projects and for participating in the YSU Data Mine.
