About the team:
nesto is looking for an Analyst to grow its Capital Markets team. In this high impact role, you will be supporting securitization, credit facilities, insurance and annual audits. You will be communicating with investors, completing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and providing support with ongoing and ad hoc projects.
What you would be doing:
● Participate in the securitization process: loan selection, preparing tranche files, providing investors with necessary information
● Managing the mortgage insurance portfolios to ensure loans are insured on a timely basis and discrepancies are resolved prior to securitization
● Analyzing the credit facilities to maintain cost optimization & liquidity and ensuring that all proposed credit exposures are in compliance with the established guidelines and limits and provide rationale for exceptions
● Executing end to end audits based on the established audit plans in alignment with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines in a timely manner
● Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal parties involved in the securitization structuring
● Provide accurate data and reports as requested by various investors to satisfy regulatory, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
Who we're looking for:
● 1 to 3 years’ experience in securitization and/or hedging in a financial service
● Highly motivated individual with treasury/capital markets experience
● Good understanding of Canadian Residential Mortgage Industry
● Strong excel and financial modeling skills
