The AI Enablement Engineer will play a pivotal role in democratizing AI capabilities across Questrade. This individual will be responsible for fostering an AI-literate culture by working with cross functional teams to help develop and deploy AI solutions using Self Service AI technology or work with the AI COE to build out a solution. This AI Enablement Engineer will help support the AI COE by enabling and empowering cross functional teams to develop their own AI solutions via consultation and upskilling in the respective areas. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, training expertise, collaboration and project management skills.

AI Engineering & Deployment:

  • Collaborate with agile engineering teams to integrate, deploy, and scale AI models from POC to production.

  • Conduct technical training on Questrade's GenAI core capabilities (e.g., Agentic Framework, Langsmith) to foster internal expertise.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing MLOps support for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining AI models in production.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and extrapolate successful AI solutions across the organization.

  • Nurture innovation by identifying and supporting AI Tech Innovators within engineering teams.

Self-Service AI Implementation:

  • Deploy AI self-service drag-and-drop solutions, from POC to final deployment.

  • Manage the end-to-end process, including comprehensive testing and evaluation with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Collaborate to identify and engage early adopters, fostering widespread adoption of self-service AI.

  • Implement and scale the selected self-service AI tool across all departments, working with tech and non-tech teams.

  • Track and report on use cases and efficiency gains, demonstrating the platform's value to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with agile teams and business units to understand AI needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Foster a collaborative environment through knowledge-sharing sessions, documented best practices, and accessible AI resources.

  • Empower resources across the organization to build their own tools and services, reducing production solution requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and applications.

  • Experience with GenAI tools and platforms (e.g. N8N, Langsmith, Agentic Framework).

  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with vendor management.

  • Experience with POC development and execution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for AI and its potential to transform business.
