Honeywell seeks an Advanced Project Engineer (Saudi National Only – Eastern Region) to direct and oversee all phases of construction projects—including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout—while coordinating internal teams and external partners (consultants, contractors, vendors) and collaborating with finance, engineering, and EHS. The role prepares and manages project budgets, monitors expenditures, forecasts costs, and ensures optimal resource allocation; develops detailed schedules, tracks progress, and implements corrective actions to meet milestones; identifies risks, manages scope changes, and resolves issues; enforces adherence to building codes, labor laws, safety regulations, and internal quality standards; and provides timely updates to senior leadership with accurate, comprehensive documentation. Required capabilities include strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, regulatory compliance, and emerging industry trends; proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation; excellent communication and organizational skills; and technical competence with project management tools (e.g., CORA, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, professional certifications such as PMP or CCM, 7 years’ experience managing large-scale or multi-site construction projects, knowledge of sustainable building practices and modern construction technologies, and strong knowledge of ELV, ICT infrastructure, security systems, and relevant industry standards and regulations. The position emphasizes leadership of cross-functional teams, negotiation and stakeholder management, and proficiency with project management software in an on-site setting in Saudi Arabia.
