About the job

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an adjunct Instructor to teach one or more courses for the MHA program in the Department of Health Policy & Management of the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health.

 

UAMS has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. We champion being a collaborative health care organization, focused on improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach various courses for the MHA program.

  • Teach course material.

  • Grade student papers.

  • Administer exams/quizzes as appropriate.

  • Maintain office hours for students to receive assistance with course material.

  • Prepare a course syllabus using the standard UAMS COPH template, and post course materials in Blackboard.

  • Submit final grades by the required deadline.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
