At Preply, Finance is the backbone of strategic decision-making — enabling growth, ensuring accuracy, and driving performance. Our team spans FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance, bringing together a diverse, international group united by flat hierarchies and a strong sense of ownership.

As part of the Accounting and AR team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and contract-compliant invoicing across a global customer base. You’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance leadership to support smooth revenue operations, respond to customer billing needs, and play an active role in debt control and collections. This is a high-visibility position with direct impact on cash flow and financial performance

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the end-to-end customer invoicing process based on contract terms and billing schedules.
• Drive improvements in the integration and automation of data flows between Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring accurate and efficient billing operations.
• Set up and maintain revenue recognition rules in line with US GAAP, ensuring accurate timing and classification of revenue based on contract terms.
• Reconcile data between NetSuite, Salesforce, and the platform to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Track invoicing milestones and support billing for non-standard or complex B2B contracts in collaboration with Sales and Legal teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Support debt control efforts, including monitoring aging reports and coordinating with internal teams to drive collections.
• Continuously identify and recommend process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and operational efficiency.

What you need to succeed:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or financial analysis roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, with working knowledge of revenue recognition under US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems, ideally NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Proven ability to reconcile data across systems and manage complex billing requirements.
• Clear, professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Sales, and Legal teams.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Proven ability to work independently, take full ownership of projects, and drive them forward in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
