Overview
A wonderful and kind family on the Upper West Side is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny/housekeeper (mother’s helper) The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 12pm to 7pm when their son is in school three days a week starting in August, and 8am to 6pm on the days he does not have school or before he officially starts school. The family is also open to a part-time nanny Monday through Friday from 2pm to 7pm. Their son is 1.8 years old, and this will be the first time he is attending school, so they are keeping their options open. Both scenarios require the candidate to be flexible with their time. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and live within a reasonable commute distance to the UWS. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for full-time
- General housekeeping, cleaning, and tidying up (family may have service deep clean)
- Laundry and linens
- Household organization
- Occasional errands
- Grocery shopping
- Meal prep and cooking
- Occasionally oversee vendors for maintenance and repairs
- Pet care – family has a dog
- All aspects of full-charge childcare
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for the child
