Overview
A warm and wonderful family in Old Greenwich, CT is seeking a long-term, full-time, live-out nanny for their 11-month-old daughter. They are expecting another baby in July. Initially, the primary care will be for the older child while mom tends to the newborn. This is a harmonious household, and the ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset and be able to effortlessly step in on day one. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm three days a week and 12pm to 8pm two days a week with flexibility. The family will guarantee 40 hours per week. Relocation is not being offered.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the child
- Drive to/from part-time daycare and local children's classes
- Engage in developmental activities
- Monitor the child’s development and progress
- Provide a stimulating and nurturing environment
- Child-related housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying up, organization, sterilization of bottles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of child’s room and spaces
- Prep and cook meals and snacks for the child
- Pack/unpack for travel
- Research age-appropriate activities for children locally and in preparation for travel
- Travel with family as requested
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Recent experience with children under 2 years of age
- Calm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- A true passion for enriching children’s lives
- Proactive and works intuitively
- Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the children

- Flexible with schedule

Requirements
- Ability to work around food allergies

Salary and Benefits
