Essential Responsibilities
Provide Excellent College-Preparatory Instruction to All Scholars
• Develop a positive, achievement-driven classroom culture that motivates scholars to reach college-preparatory standards.
• Effectively deliver curriculum and provide just-in-time support for diverse learners, including those with disabilities and English language learners.
• Internalize grade-level and content standards to prepare engaging daily lessons, instructional materials, and exit tickets aligned with rigorous standards such as the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
• Welcome and incorporate feedback from coaching, leadership, and content support teams to continuously improve your practice.
Uphold Alliance Values and Standards of Excellence
• Embrace a growth mindset to provide opportunities aligned with the Alliance’s Graduate Profile.
• ⏱️ Submit high-quality, timely lesson plans, unit plans, and re-teaching strategies.

Minimum Qualifications
• If you will have any of the following credentials by August 1st, you are encouraged to apply:
• California Single or Multiple Subject Credential (Clear or Preliminary)
• If Multiple Subject, Bilingual Authorization in the taught language
• California University Internship Credential Eligible (intern eligibility letter required)
• Proof of California Credential in progress (e.g., university email)
• Out-of-state credential transferring to California (proof of transfer in progress)
• Active California teaching certification in the relevant subject area(s) and valid English Learner Authorization (e.g., CLAD) by August 1st.
