What You’ll DoYou’ll be a teacher, mentor, and co-creator of learning. Your role will include:
- Teaching four sections of English across grades 9 through 12 (with flexibility in course design)
- Advising a small group of students and fostering their growth—academically and personally
- Giving meaningful, timely feedback that challenges and inspires
- Collaborating with department colleagues on curriculum innovation
- Engaging fully in community life: coaching, supervising residential evenings, participating in Saturday classes or programs, and more
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Writing, Education, or related field
- At least some experience teaching at the secondary level (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to connect with diverse learners and teach inclusively
- A commitment to community, mentoring, and the full life of a residential school
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with educational tech tools (Google Suite, etc.)
- A warm, close-knit community of students and colleagues

Salary Range: $40,000 – $80,000. Pay is commensurate with experience.
