About Us: World Harvest Food Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food for people in need. We are seeking an Outreach Coordinator to join our team and help us expand our reach and services.
Job Summary: The Outreach Coordinator will play a key role in developing and implementing outreach strategies to connect with local communities, organizations, and individuals in need. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food security, community development, and social services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness about World Harvest Food Bank's services and programs
- Build relationships with local organizations, community groups, and government agencies to expand our network and services
- Identify and engage with underserved populations, including low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities
- Collaborate with the Program Director and other team members to develop and implement outreach plans and events
- Represent World Harvest Food Bank at community events, conferences, and meetings
- Maintain accurate records and reports on outreach activities and outcomes
- Provide support for fundraising events and campaigns as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in outreach, community development, or a related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of local community resources and social services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally (optional)

Salary: $84,000-$90,000 per year
