YucaTech is seeking a mid-level Node.js Developer in Argentina to help build and maintain reliable backend services for complex digital products. You will work remotely with an agile engineering team, contributing to API design, application architecture, data modeling, testing, and production support. The core stack includes Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
- Develop secure, well-documented REST APIs and integrations with external services.
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient queries, and manage database migrations.
- Produce clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Diagnose performance and reliability issues across application and database layers.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teammates in an agile delivery process.
- Contribute to technical planning, estimates, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 2.5 years of professional backend or full-stack development experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building production applications with NestJS.
- Solid PostgreSQL skills, including relational modeling, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with automated testing, Git workflows, and code review practices.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and backend performance.
- Upper-intermediate English (B2) or better for remote collaboration.
