On site — Seattle & Issaquah, WA. Serene Healthcare Talent is hiring a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse for a part-time role supporting patients in a focused infusion care setting.
Schedule: part-time, 3 days per week, 9am–5pm. This role is ideal for a compassionate RN with strong IV skills, high-acuity clinical experience, and clear patient communication.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome patients and escort them to private infusion rooms.
- Educate patients about treatments and address questions or concerns about adverse reactions.
- Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Maintain patient care flow and respond calmly to urgent or emergency situations.
- Keep infusion rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Answer phone calls as needed while following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
- Recent IV experience required.
- Infusion experience preferred; training may be available for the right candidate.
- Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and patient-care communication skills.
