We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will manage Kubernetes environments, improve deployment workflows, and work with developers to keep applications secure, scalable, and available. This is a remote role open to applicants worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for application environments.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure as code.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments and rollbacks.
- Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and improve reliability.
- Apply cloud security practices, manage access permissions, and optimize resource usage.
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes, including troubleshooting workloads and networking.
- Experience with Docker or similar container tooling.
- Ability to automate infrastructure with tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Linux, networking, monitoring, and scripting with Bash or Python.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed engineering team.
