Bubble Down Car Wash is looking for energetic, outgoing Customer Service Associates to join our growing team in Clearwater, Florida. In this active, hands-on role, you will be the face of our wash, greeting customers, helping them choose the right wash package or membership, and supporting day-to-day site operations. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying busy, and talking with people, we’ll train you on everything else you need to know.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression at the pay station and around the site.
- Engage customers in conversation and recommend appropriate wash packages, add-ons, and memberships based on their needs.
- Meet individual and team performance goals tied to commission opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain site cleanliness and appearance, including trash pickup, organizing supplies, and general property upkeep.
- Perform routine operational tasks such as pressure washing, cleaning equipment, folding towels, and restocking materials.
- Assist with light maintenance and promptly report any equipment, safety, or operational issues to leadership.
- Rotate between customer-facing and operational duties throughout the shift to keep vehicles moving efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards to protect customers, coworkers, and equipment.
- Support new team members by demonstrating proper procedures and promoting a positive team environment.
- Communicate clearly with teammates and management about workflow, issues, and customer needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Energetic, outgoing personality with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable engaging customers, making recommendations, and learning basic sales/upselling techniques.
- Willingness to work outdoors in heat, sun, rain, and changing weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Basic comfort using technology such as POS systems, tablets, and membership tools.
- Experience in sales, customer service, car wash, or retail is a plus but not required—we provide paid training.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to stay positive and professional under pressure.
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
