Overview
A dynamic Putney-based family is seeking a full-time, professional and educated career nanny for 2 children, aged 6-months and 2.5-years. This is a Monday through Friday, full-time position and ideally the nanny would live locally. The nanny will need to stay overnight occasionally when one of the parents travels, and ideally would be flexible to cover for extra hours when needed.
Responsibilities
- Everything related to the children and their well-being
- Child-related laundry and light housekeeping
- Researching and scheduling classes, engagements and activities
- Preparing healthy and nutritious meals (with some batch cooking required)
- Child related shopping and errands
- Occasional travel with the family
Qualifications
The parents are keen to find a nanny who is educationally focused. Candidates should:
- Be educated and very focused on childhood development
- Be thoughtful and proactive
- Be aware of developmental and behavioural milestones
- Bring a positive mind-set to the role
- Be an effective communicator and collaborator
- Be flexible and professional
- Be brilliant at reading the room, and recognising when to step back and give the family their space
- Be native or fluent English-speakers
- Have initiative and a pitch-in mentality
