Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide spiritual support and guidance to youth as needed.
- Meet with the director weekly to discuss discipleship plans and opportunities.
- Able to communicate effectively with our youth, kingdom servants, and staff.
- Coordinate advertising of youth programs/events with Ministry Advancement.
- Plans socials and worship programs.
- Prepare and make available program information.
- Schedule facilities as needed for programs/events.
- Assist the Director of Youth with office administration.
- Record information on and prepare reports concerning youth programs/events, costs, number of participants, and equipment and facility use.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.); at least three years of experience and/or training that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Requires knowledge of Christian principles and youth ministry.
Spiritual Commitment
All employees are expected to commit to Christ and to the philosophy, ministry, and vision of OCBF and to help the church to meet the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs of the church family. Members are asked to commit to:
- Consciously pursuing spiritual growth by participating in the vital experience of the church
- (Education, Fellowship, Outreach, and Worship).
- Faithfully give at least 10% of their income to the ministry of OCBF.
- Faithfully serve in one of the ministries of the church in a volunteer capacity.
- Agree to read and function under the guidelines and authority of the Church Constitution and By- Laws.
Hours/Schedule:
- Full-Time.
- Sunday = 6:45 am - 2:00 pm
- Wednesday = 1 pm - 8 pm
- Mon, Tues, Thurs = 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
