Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc and mig-tig machines
- Weld metal components together using various welding techniques
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
