Description

Recyclops, Inc. is a growing company in the sustainability arena. Headquartered in Utah, we have operations in 24 states and increasing. Recyclops is seeking an experienced warehouse manager in the York, PA area. The warehouse manager is responsible for overall operations of the York/Dallastown area, including the supervision of 160+ associates.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure safe and efficient processing of received materials.
  • Supervision of staff: Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Train staff as needed, including orientating new staff on warehouse policies and processes.
  • Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate recordkeeping of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Process optimization: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and increase efficiency.
  • Communication and collaboration: Work with other departments, communicating with staff and providing regular reports on warehouse operations.
  • Forklift operation: Safely operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse. Load and unload trucks using a forklift. Organize inventory within the warehouse.
  • Baler operation: Safely operate a bailing machine to compress materials into manageable bales for storage and transport. Monitor baled materials for quality and identify any unacceptable materials.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and used safely and effectively.
  • Make recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, and other related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

  • Carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Bending, pulling, pushing, twisting, stooping, and squatting.

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Seeing up close.
  • Hearing alarms and/or signals.

Work Environment

  • May involve dirt, odor, or dust.
  • The noise level is moderate. Hearing protection will be available.
  • Wearing eye protection and gloves is required.
  • Closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes are required.

Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Proficient with technology, including inventory software, Google Workspace, and logistics software.
  • Ability to speak and write in English.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols preferred.
