About the job
Atlas is excited to be working with a group of veterinarian-led practices to find an Operations Manager to oversee a regional portfolio based out of Chicago, IL.
This is a people-facing, performance-driven role for someone who enjoys supporting practice leaders, solving problems, and turning insight into results.
In this position, you’ll act as the senior operational lead across 6–9 veterinary partnerships, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution. You’ll work directly with veterinarian partners and practice managers to improve performance, strengthen leadership capability, and create consistency, without stripping away what makes each practice unique.
This role is for someone who enjoys variety, travel, and autonomy. You’ll collaborate with specialist teams across finance, HR, recruiting, marketing, IT, and strategy, while maintaining ownership of outcomes in your region. With visibility at the senior leadership level and room to grow, it’s an excellent opportunity for an operator who wants real responsibility and influence.
If you’re curious, we’d love to start with an informal conversation to explore whether this role aligns with what you’re looking for next!
