UX Design Intern
About the job
At Chronicare, we're creating a world where no one faces chronic illness alone. Our app connects patients through disease-specific peer-to-peer communities, allowing them to share experiences, track what matters, and support one another on their journey. We are a fast-moving, VC-backed, early-stage start-up that is obsessed with delivering an outstanding product experience.
Now we’re looking for a creative UX Design Intern to support our product team.
What you'll be doing:
• Work hands-on in Figma to refine and expand our app and design system
• Support the team in creating intuitive and accessible UX flows for patients living with chronic illnesses
• Contribute to user research and validation in form of posts in and chats with our early tester community, interviews or usability tests
• Contribute to or even own concept development and validation of new product ideas
• Collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to bring designs to production
Who you are:
• You have a clear passion and eye for UX design, evident through your studies, work or personal projects
• You’re comfortable working in Figma and familiar with prototyping and design systems
• You’re curious about user research and confident engaging with patients
• You have a high sense of ownership – you don’t know everything, but you figure things out and ask for help when needed
• Personal experience or knowledge about chronic illness is a plus
