Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2025-26

THE PLACE: Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has established itself as the nation’s top undergraduate engineering, science and mathematics college. THE POSITION: The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Rose-Hulman invites tenure-track faculty applications with an anticipated start date of August 2025. The department, which continues to experience strong enrollment growth (currently over 500 students), offers B.S. degrees in computer science and software engineering. These programs are accredited by the Computing and Engineering Accreditation Commissions of ABET. The department also offers a multidisciplinary second major in data science and minors in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Robotics. The department has several ongoing research projects among its vibrant interdisciplinary initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have a doctorate (or near completion) in computer science, software engineering or closely related fields (including engineering education with an emphasis on these fields) and evidence of, or demonstrated potential for, excellence in undergraduate teaching. We are looking for candidates who embrace the mission and vision of Rose-Hulman to join our collegial team of 28 faculty.
