Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of tools such as MadCap Flare, JIRA, Confluence, and GIT, with the ability to quickly ramp up on client projects. The candidate should have a willingness to learn new tools and technologies, including Oxygen XML for technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Development: Create, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and system guides, using tools like MadCap Flare, JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to gather technical information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
• Learning & Growth: Quickly adapt to new tools and technologies, including learning and working with Oxygen XML for creating and managing documentation.
• API Documentation: While you may not have had a chance to work with API documentation previously, you will leverage your knowledge from a course on API documentation to contribute to related projects.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation standards, best practices, and templates within the organization.
• Quality Assurance: Review and edit documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established guidelines.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using MadCap Flare for creating and managing technical content.
• Comfortable working with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
• Basic familiarity with GIT version control for managing documentation changes.
• Strong understanding of documentation standards and quality assurance processes.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
