Technical Architect – Insurance – Permanent – London / Hybrid

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Technology Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions across the business. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and outsourced development teams to shape architecture decisions and functionalise the overall technology landscape.

You’ll be a great fit if:
  • You’re an experienced Technology or Solutions Architect with a strong track record in designing enterprise-level systems.
  • You’ve worked with broking platforms, especially Acturis, and understand workflows, integrations, and custom configurations.
  • You’re confident designing API integrations and working with middleware platforms.
  • You have a solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
  • You’re experienced with cloud platforms (particularly Azure) and modern architecture patterns like microservices and event-driven design.
  • You’re familiar with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and containerisation.
  • You’ve worked with Salesforce and integration tools like MuleSoft or similar.
  • You’re comfortable collaborating across development, operations, security, and business teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
This opportunity requires 2-3 days per week in their London office and is paying a salary up to £85,000.00 per annum.
