We are looking to hire a passionate and hands-on Systems Engineer (f/m/d). You will become a member of the System Integration team, advancing the instrumentation of our Molecular Cartography™ platforms.
The role is based in the company’s headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and reliable operation of our Molecular Cartography prototype instruments.
- Creation and review of technical documents. Knowledge transfer to manufacturing partners.
- Develop test routines & setups for sub-modules and verify functionality against specifications.
- Training and support of wet-lab personnel in prototype operations.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in (electrical, medical, bioprocess) engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the development of electro-mechanical, fluidics and/or advanced optics devices, preferably for the life sciences or medical device industry.
- Proficiency in Python and/or embedded system programming is preferred.
- CAD design experience with Autodesk inventor is a plus.
- Experience in product prototyping and development is a plus.
- Ability to perform hands-on-work building, operating and troubleshooting devices.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities are expected.
- Strong teams' spirit and willingness to learn in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
