Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active Top-Secret/SCI Clearance required.


Responsibilities

  • Administer both developmental and operational environments for global, mission-critical systems.

  • Manage all aspects of complex physical security backend systems, including:

    • Network administration

    • Operating system configuration

    • Hardware and software management

  • Ensure systems meet stringent service level agreements (SLAs) for mission uptime.

  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex system and network issues related to physical security systems.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with:

    • Team members and mission stakeholders

    • Customers, manufacturers, vendors, and technical specialists

  • Analyze system performance and functional requirements to develop and maintain large-scale enterprise system architectures.

  • Implement and manage system management and software deployment tools to automate system administration.

  • Configure and utilize system health monitoring tools to perform:

    • Preventative and predictive maintenance

    • System backups

    • Error log aggregation and monitoring

    • Database size and integrity checks

  • Prepare and maintain detailed system documentation, including:

    • System architecture and configuration

    • Change requests

    • Configuration baselines using system management tools


Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of experience or 3+ with a Master's degree or 8+ years of experience with an Associates degree or HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience providing system administration to Elastic and or Linux based systems. 
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active Top-Secret/SCI Clearance required.
  • Requires IAT Level 2
