What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the delivery of the organisation's sustainability strategy, aligning with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Collect, analyse, and report on sustainability data related to energy use, water consumption, waste management, and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and implement initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
- Promote circular economy principles, ensuring resource efficiency, waste minimisation, and effective recycling.
- Engage with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to foster a sustainability culture.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability-related policies, regulations, and GHG protocols.
- Contribute to preparing sustainability reports on environmental performance and progress towards targets.
- Manage projects, driving sustainability initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a sustainability-related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainable Development).
- Experience in sustainability roles, with a deep understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of GHG emissions and carbon footprinting in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
- Familiarity with circular economy principles in business applications.
