Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Structurer for its New York, NY location.
DUTIES: Evaluate quantitative credit metrics and analyze portfolio of credit assets provided by Collateral Managers. Perform rating agency modeling using Moody’s CDO Edge, Fitch Connect, and S&P CDO Evaluator. Model Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) deals in Excel and Intex for investors to perform bespoke analysis. Conduct all quantitative aspects of the structuring process, including optimizing deal structure, evaluating expected rating analysis on CLO tranches, and analyzing rate of returns and defaults. Communicate and negotiate with working groups including counsels, rating agencies, sales, and trustees through key marketing, execution, legal, and structuring points. Lead the pricing and closing process of transactions by coordinating with clients, external legal counsels, sales, internal business, and operational/risk teams. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation conducting primary and secondary market valuations within the financial industry. Two (2) years of experience must include: Performing spread products primary and secondary market valuation and conducting quantitative return and risk analysis for a securitized products market; Analyzing financial metrics, pulling market data, and evaluating market color using Excel add-in and macro; Participating in the asset-backed spread (ABS) products origination process; Communicating with working groups, sales teams, and traders through key pitching, marketing, and execution points; and Advising clients on the execution of optimal transactions in the securitized products markets. 40 hrs./wk.
