Job Summary:


We are looking for an ambitious Staff Accountant to provide support and assistance to our high-performance Accounting Team. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. You will have the chance to apply your knowledge to accounting operations, tax filings, and financial statement audits.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Own and manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable operations of the business including supporting accounts receivable collections efforts
  • Perform daily matching and reconciliation of client transactions and activity
  • Work with Finance, Revenue Operations, Human Resources, and external stakeholders to facilitate accounting operations
  • Assist with timely and accurately reporting month-end close results, entering journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform research on tax notices received from federal, state, and local jurisdictions
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested (accounting system data validation and cleanup, fixed assets inventory, etc.)


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate accounting, finance, or at least 1.5 years of experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor's degree, with a major, or minor concentration in Accounting
  • Strong working knowledge or openness to learn QuickBooks
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
