What we're looking for
We're growing quickly and looking for a superstar Software Engineering Intern to join our team. We believe in small, tight-knit teams made of only the best people. You'll work directly with the founding team to develop a platform that users love! We're looking for people who are obsessed with changing the world for the better and believe in technology to do so.
What you'll do
You’ll be working with NodeJS, ReactJS, NextJS, Bootstrap, Serverless, AWS (Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB), Styled Components, and more cutting-edge tools from our tech stack. Legacy tech? Not our backyard. We promise you won’t be bored.
Build algorithms and rules based on user data to optimize social features and in-app experiences
Architect and build off of an existing node.js server on both express and serverless frameworks
Design data schemas leveraging NoSQL database technologies in distributed production environments
Create delightful user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, reliable, and fun
Take ownership for the design, development, maintenance, and testing strategy of the platform
Work with cross functional teams to align on design, milestones, and new features and experiences
Translate designs into React in a very fast-paced and iterative environment

Are you someone who can learn quickly, ideally with JavaScript experience? You should also be comfortable working across the full stack, even if you focus on the frontend or backend. Serverless experience is helpful but not required.
