As a Software Engineer at Tive, you will contribute to designing and developing a large-scale data processing and analytics system that helps our customers monitor, analyze, and predict shipments in the supply chain. You’ll work closely with a team of full-stack engineers, collaborating on technical solutions, writing high-quality code, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.

We highly value engineers who take initiative, demonstrate ownership over their work, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who is eager to collaborate, share knowledge with teammates, and actively participate in technical discussions and decision-making.

Our ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of successful history in software engineering positions,
• Experience with multi-tier web application development,
• Experience with AWS hosting environments,
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as C#,
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Angular,
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and/or Postgres,
• A strong desire to learn, teach, and collaborate with the team.

In addition, they may have:

• Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes to build containerized applications,
• Deep understanding of SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
• Experience with big data streaming platforms such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka,

What you’ll be doing:

• You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from coding and testing responsive web applications to managing databases and APIs.
• You will offer guidance to team members through code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship.
• You will coordinate efforts as your team creates a data processing and analytics system,
• You will work to build strong relationships with and support co-workers, including remote peers in other time zones.
